John Poerschke Executive Vice President

John D. Poerschke serves as our Executive Vice President of Aircraft Procurement and Specification and is co-head of our manufacturer’s relations group which negotiates our aircraft and engine purchases with the airframe and engine manufacturers. Mr. Poerschke brings more than 25 years of aviation industry experience to us, the last 15 years of which were at ILFC. While at ILFC, Mr. Poerschke managed both the development of the technical aircraft configurations and procurement of the buyer furnished equipment for many of ILFC’s Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Mr. Poerschke brings an extensive network of aviation supplier relationships with him to us. Prior to joining ILFC, Mr. Poerschke held jobs of increasing management responsibility in the engineering, fleet planning and procurement departments of United Airlines, American Airlines and Boeing. Mr. Poerschke received a Bachelor of Science degree from USC and he is an FAA rated pilot.
