Citizens of European Union: Exercise of rights under the European Union General Data Protection Regulation Data Protection Rights (GDPR)

The following is provided to facilitate the rights of individuals under Chapter III of REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) also known as the GDPR.

Citizens of European Union are free to exercise your data protection rights at any time. You have the following rights:

  • Right of Access: you have the right to request confirmation whether ALC is processing your personal information and if so, right to access the personal data
  • Right to correct Personal Data: You have the right to correct your Personal Data that you discover to be inaccurate
  • Right to be forgotten: If you believe your Personal Data is no longer necessary for the purposes that Air Lease Corporation collected it, you have the right for your Personal Data to be erased
  • Right to restrict the processing of your data: You have the right to stop ALC from processing your Personal Data when, for instance, the processing is unlawful, and you oppose the erasure of your Personal Data. In such cases, your Personal Data will only be processed with your consent or for the exercise or defense of legal claims
  • ALC will communicate with you about any correction, erasure or processing carried out on personal data based on an approved request
  • Right to data portability: there are some circumstances provided by law, where you have the right to receive the Personal Data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format
  • Right to object and to withdraw consent: you have the right to object and withdraw consent at any time
  • Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling: Air Lease Corporation does not perform automated decision-making or profiling on any data it collects
